Founded in 2014 with her then-boyfriend, now-husband, Buck, Pressed Fig Paperie (formerly Salinson Creative) is a labor of love. While Kelly leads the creative vision, Buck contributes behind the scenes with photography, design, and production, ensuring every piece reflects their shared passion for artistry.

Pressed Fig Paperie specializes in crafting fine art wedding and day-of stationery and signage for couples who cherish intricate details that make their love story unique. Kelly offers bespoke, luxurious experiences tailored to each couple, believing that wedding invitations should be as unique as the love stories they represent. Additionally, she provides refined creative branding solutions for modern businesses seeking to make a distinctive impression.

Drawing inspiration from nature, distinctive locales, and the personal narratives of her clients, Kelly ensures that each bespoke creation authentically tells your story through meticulously crafted designs.

how it started...

her own love story...

Our journey began in 2011 at Salisbury University, where we met in a Painting I class. Our friendship blossomed over shared artistic passions and mutual friends, leading to a romantic relationship in 2012. Friends often remarked on our connection even before we officially started dating, highlighting the genuine bond that underpins Pressed Fig Paperie.

In 2014, Buck proposed in one of their favorite places--Charleston, SC. He had such romantic intentions on how he was going to propose, but one of our best friends (she was also a bridesmaid and the officiant!) accidentally spoiled the surprise by texting Kelly instead of Buck. The two got married in May 2016 and it was the best day ever.

My favorite activity is to cozy up in a blanket and read. I have always loved to read, but stopped when I went to college. I picked up a viral romantasy series up during the pandemic and have become enthralled with reading all over again. It's become part of my personality at this point. I probably own more bookish apparel than any other type of clothing, and I now collect collector's editions and go to signings..so it's a problem. My favorite genre is fantasy/romantasy and my go-to trope is enemies to lovers.

I am obsessed with all things flowers! I get a lot of inspiration from bouquets and other arrangements for my watercolor paintings.
