Kelly started Pressed Fig Paperie (formerly Salinson Creative) in 2014 with her then-boyfriend and now-husband, Buck. Even though Kelly is the face you see behind PFP, Buck is a behind-the-scenes partner, helping with photos, design, & assembly production.
Pressed Fig Paperie creates fine art wedding & day-of stationery for authentic, fun couples who love the little details. Kelly creates unique and luxury experiences for all of her couples because no one person is the same, so why should your wedding invitations be? She also provides refined creative branding for modern businesses.
Always inspired by nature, unique locations, and her couples stories, Kelly provides a truly bespoke experience to ensure her couples FEEL their story was told through their invitations.
Kelly and Buck met at Salisbury University in Salisbury, MD in Painting I class in 2011. They became great friends--talked all the time in between classes, went out to parties on the weekends and finally started dating in 2012, once they got over being too shy to let one another know how they felt. It's pretty cute (like middle school cute) how they told one another. All of their friends already considered the two exclusive before they even did!
In 2014, Buck proposed in one of their favorite places--Charleston, SC. He had such romantic intentions on how he was going to propose, but one of their best friends (she was also a bridesmaid and the officiant!) accidentally spoiled the surprise by texting Kelly instead of Buck! The two got married in May 2016 and it was the best day ever!

My favorite activity is to cozy up in a blanket and read. I have always loved to read, but stopped when I went to college. I picked up a viral romantasy series up during the pandemic and have become enthralled with reading all over again. It's become part of my personality at this point. I probably own more bookish apparel than any other type of clothing, and I now collect collector's editions and go to signings..so it's a problem. My favorite genre is fantasy/romantasy and my go-to trope is enemies to lovers.
I am obsessed with all things flowers! I get a lot of inspiration from bouquets and other arrangements for my watercolor paintings.
I am head over heels in love with Charleston, SC! Buck and I got engaged and had our honeymoon there! It holds a very special place in our hearts, and never gets old whenever we visit. If you ever need recommendations when visiting there,
I got you!
